Total Loss 10.2

I lost 2.8 pounds this week, my third weigh-in, for a total loss of 10.2. Last week I had bought 8 packs of beverage, so as to have a variety from which to choose (ones that I know I'll rarely choose being tomato soup, vanilla pudding, and strawberry), so I had plenty of beverage. A participant is required to purchase a minimum of three packs per week, and I wanted a chicken soup and two chocolate with fibers. So, they wanted me to either accept plain chocolate or else go back out there tomorrow and pick up my c/w/f's after calling to make sure the shipment came in. I said I would just get it next week, but I had to pay for it today. Which means that I only have 3 c/w/f's for the next 7 days, but I think it'll be fine. (Wow - I imagine this makes for fascinating reading for my support team! Tip: just skim through it.) My regular 4 each day are hot cocoa, chocolate with fiber (which I drink hot), chicken soup, and chocolate pudding. The chicken soup has been much improved by the addition of one-half teaspoon of chicken boullion. Today instead of my c/w/f that I'm only going to have every other day this week, I had a tomato soup with beef boullion and a splash of worcestershire sauce, which improved that. I don't really like chocolate pudding very much. Sometimes I only drink 3 a day, which is OK, too.

  1. Mmm, sounds delicious! I can assure you this support team member is fascinated by the day to day workings of your diet. Good job Carol! Maybe if you add some lime and cilantro (do you get cilantro?) you can fool yourself into thinking cold tomato soup is camarones.

  2. Here's another tip for readers. Sometimes the word "pack" means one packet of powdered stuff, and other times it means a box of multiple packets. I think. This point confused me earlier, anyway.

I agree with the previous poster. Good job, Carol!! Great blog name, too! I will be looking forward to your news each week.

    Go team! Go team Carol!!

  3. You did a blog! Now we can all see each other's comments without wondering if it would be too annoying to some to do "reply all".

I am also fascinated by your diet. Are there any flavors you haven't tried yet? I guess the Pineapple Apricot has fallen out of favor.

    Good job on the 2.8!

  4. THANKS GUYS! These comments are far more interesting than the blog blab itself. I'm sure Jessica was kidding, but I do not like cilantro one bit, and the idea of liquified camerones is not appealing, much as I love camerones themselves.

Yeah, by "pack" I meant box of 7 packets.

If you count chocolate as the same as chocolate with fiber (which I do - they taste identical), there are 11 flavors, of which I can tolerate 7. Certainly I've tasted them all. I cannot tolerate pineapple apricot or lemon, I guess due to the milky taste that I don't think goes with fruit. Mocha was very disgusting - no coffee flavor, sort of a rancid caramel flavor. And, strangely, vanilla was also disgusting, even frozen with root beer.

  5. Go, Carol! We support YOU. And we will have an easier time doing so when it's only a slim trim 225 like me. Love ya. Adrienne
