Total loss 33.4

Yesterday I posted a 1.4 loss in 5 days, so now I weigh 211.8. Had myself a little 0-carb cheat last night of 1/2 can of smoked kippered herring (thanks to the Beez) - 65 calories - I could have eaten the whole thing, but I really didn't intend to go over 40, but I did. Tasted mighty good. Rachel & Jacob got to split the other half.

  1. Glad to see you're adding some more details. It looks like you've been averaging the 3 lbs a week that they said you would. You really did look thinner when I saw you last weekend. Today I had a many-carb cheat in the form of 2 peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, a Mountain Dew, and a BK fish sandwich. I should have given some of that to the cats.

  2. What? Why the heck the heck did the Beez have kippered herring in her possession? That's an odd choice.

  3. I don't really have anything to add, but I like to have my name on every post to show just how very supportive a team member I am. :-)

  5. Kate, you should have your own blog for Lose Big. In my mind, Lynn gave me that can of kippered herring as a Christmas gift. Chris, thanks for all the GREAT support. Natasha - it was not your fault in any way that I ate ONE 10-calorie potato chip - I can still remember how delicious it was and how I proud I was to eat just one. However, I'm not so proud of myself for last night, when I left a very hectic day at work to go straight to Kroger's for some protein cheat items. I ate 2 light hot dogs and, while I enjoyed them a lot more than I used to back when I was eating them with buns, ketchup, and loads of potato chips, only the first few bites were really fantastic. I also bought and opened another can of smoked herring, intending to eat the whole thing, but stopped at half and gave the rest to Rachel and Jacob. I know I really shouldn't cheat like that. KATE, IF YOU'RE READING, STOP HERE. Last night I had a long dream where I was trying to purchase lots of food at a Bishop's Buffeteria-like place, but my credit card kept breaking into pieces, so I couldn't pay for all the items I had piled on my tray.
